In mining operations, electric haul trucks are increasingly becoming the industry’s mainstream choice thanks to their environmental friendliness and energy efficiency. However, as these vehicles gain wider adoption, charging has emerged as a major challenge for mine operators: low charging efficiency, insufficient charging infrastructure, and short battery life—issues that not only reduce operational productivity but also drive up costs. So, is there a solution that can comprehensively address these problems? The answer is— One-stop charging solution for mine carts

Pain points of minecart charging: Why are traditional methods inefficient?

  1. Low charging efficiency and long wait times.
Traditional charging methods are slow, requiring mining trucks to wait for extended periods, which reduces transportation efficiency.

  2. Insufficient charging stations and uneven resource allocation.
The number of charging stations is limited, failing to meet the demand for simultaneous charging of multiple mining trucks and often leading to queueing and congestion.

  3. Short battery life and high replacement costs.
Improper charging practices can accelerate battery degradation, shorten its lifespan, and result in costly replacement expenses.

  4. Lack of intelligent management leads to chaotic charging.
The allocation of charging tasks is unclear, leading to underutilized or overused charging stations and low resource efficiency.

In response to the aforementioned issues, our company has specifically developed a tailored solution:

Option 1: High-Power 1.2 MW All-In-One Fast Charger

Option 2: Mobile Battery-Swapping Station

Mobile battery swapping Comprising two core products—the mobile energy vehicle and the mobile battery‑swapping vehicle—once it receives a battery‑swap request, the mobile energy vehicle shuttles between battery‑charging stations to transfer batteries to and from the vehicle awaiting replacement. Meanwhile, the mobile battery‑swapping vehicle uses an onboard robotic system to perform on‑site swapping of fully charged and depleted batteries.

The battery-swap model enables rapid energy replenishment by replacing a vehicle’s battery. In scenarios where the battery is decoupled from the vehicle, it can significantly reduce the initial purchase cost of new-energy vehicles while delivering faster refueling speeds.

Product Advantages

  1.   Fast charging technology: reduces charging time

By leveraging advanced fast-charging technology, the charging time for mining trucks has been significantly reduced. Compared with conventional charging methods, charging efficiency has improved by more than 50%, enabling the trucks to return to service more quickly.

2.  Smart charging stations: support simultaneous charging for multiple vehicles.

Equipped with high‑power smart charging stations, it supports simultaneous charging of multiple mining trucks. The chargers also feature automatic identification, enabling them to dynamically adjust the charging power based on each truck’s battery condition, thereby preventing overcharging or undercharging.

3.  Battery Health Management: Extending Battery Life

Through an intelligent monitoring system, the battery’s health status—including key parameters such as state of charge, temperature, and voltage—is tracked in real time. The system optimizes the charging strategy based on the battery’s condition, preventing overcharging or overheating and extending the battery’s service life.

4.  Intelligent Scheduling System: Optimizing the Allocation of Charging Resources

Through an intelligent scheduling system, charging tasks can be automatically assigned based on the operating status and charging requirements of the mine carts. For example, mine carts with lower battery levels are prioritized for charging, thereby preventing downtime caused by insufficient power.

5. Support Data Analysis: Continuously Optimizing Charging Strategies

By collecting and analyzing charging data from mining trucks, the system can continuously optimize its charging strategy. For example, if certain charging stations are found to be overused, the system can adjust the allocation of charging tasks to improve resource utilization.

With the growing adoption of electric mining trucks and the continuous advancement of charging technologies, mine‑truck charging is shifting from traditional “passive charging” to “proactive management.” One‑stop charging solutions not only address current pain points but also deliver greater operational efficiency and lower costs for mining operations.

If you’re also struggling with the challenge of charging mining trucks, why not give this one-stop solution a try? It makes truck charging more efficient and reliable, ensuring smooth operations at your mine.
