3 MW ultra-fast charging solves the charging challenges of 220-ton heavy-duty all-electric trucks.

As major enterprises enthusiastically embrace the national policy on electrifying commercial vehicles, the development of all‑electric construction trucks has entered a phase of rapid growth. High‑power electric models are rapidly emerging in the market, making it imperative to address the pressing challenge of fast charging for large‑scale electric vehicles. Against this backdrop, our company has independently developed a 3 MW high-power ultra‑fast charger, designed to serve industries such as coking, mining, metallurgy, and port operations. It addresses the charging challenges of high-power engineering vehicles.
The 3 MW high-power fast charger developed this time is specifically designed for SF33900, The 220‑ton all‑electric mining dump truck is designed to deliver a fully electric‑driven, electric‑wheel‑drive operating system, providing stable, rapid, and continuous power supply. This enables the vehicle to operate in open‑pit, high‑dust mining environments at altitudes of up to 2,000 meters and ambient temperatures ranging from –35°C to 40°C.
The system comprises a 3 MW main unit and an MCS liquid‑cooled terminal, capable of delivering up to 3,000 A of high current. The terminal features liquid‑cooling for thermal management and can be integrated with our company’s automated robotic arm for fully automated charging.

Next, let’s take a look at our 3 MW system. The equipment is equipped with an MCS liquid‑cooled charging gun, with the main unit on the right and the terminal charging station on the left.

The figure below shows our company’s automated robotic gun‑insertion equipment, which, when used in conjunction with compatible systems, enables fully automated, unmanned charging.
