836 kWh / 800 kW Mobile Battery Energy Storage System

High-Power Mobile Energy for EV Charging, Jobsites, and Critical Loads

The 836 kWh / 800 kW Mobile BESS combines high-capacity battery storage, high-power DC charging, power conversion, thermal management, and intelligent protection in a transportable dual-axle platform. It brings stored energy directly to locations where grid capacity is limited, temporary, or unavailable.

With four 200 kW DC charging connectors and a 200-1,000 VDC output range, the system can support commercial EV fleets, electric construction machinery, and other high-voltage vehicles. A 500 kW PCS enables flexible AC-side energy management, while liquid cooling for the battery compartment and air cooling for the electrical compartment help maintain stable operation in demanding environments.

Key Benefits

836 kWh Mobile Energy Capacity

The high-capacity battery system supports extended operation away from fixed infrastructure and reduces dependence on diesel generators or costly temporary grid upgrades.

800 kW DC Charging System

Four 200 kW charging connectors provide flexible multi-vehicle charging. The wide 200-1,000 VDC output range supports a broad selection of commercial vehicles and electric equipment.

500 kW Power Conversion System

The integrated PCS operates across a 615-950 VDC range and supports 230/400 VAC at 50/60 Hz for grid interaction, microgrid integration, temporary site power, and facility energy management.

Dual-Mode Thermal Management

Liquid cooling controls battery-compartment temperature, while air cooling serves the electrical compartment. This dual-mode design supports consistent operation and helps protect critical system components.

Three-Level BMS Cell Protection

The battery management architecture provides coordinated protection at three levels:

  • ESBMM - Cell level: monitors cell voltage and temperature.
  • BCMU - Cluster level: monitors battery-cluster voltage, current, and operating status.
  • ESMU - System level: coordinates system data, analysis, alarms, and protection strategies.

Built for Mobile Deployment

The dual-axle trailer platform allows the complete energy system to be transported between projects, charging locations, emergency sites, and temporary facilities. An IP54 enclosure, C4 anti-corrosion rating, and operation at altitudes up to 3,000 meters support outdoor and industrial applications.

How the Mobile BESS Works

The Mobile BESS can receive energy from the utility grid, solar PV, wind power, or a generator. Stored energy can then be delivered to DC charging equipment, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, temporary site loads, or facility systems. Remote monitoring supports operating visibility, while the integrated BMS and thermal-management systems continuously protect the battery and electrical equipment.

Five High-Value Applications

Heavy Equipment Power and Charging

Deliver high-power energy to electric excavators, loaders, construction trucks, and other engineering equipment without waiting for permanent charging infrastructure.

Construction Sites

Provide temporary power for site offices, tools, lighting, equipment, and vehicle charging while reducing generator runtime and on-site emissions.

Reliable Backup Power

Support hospitals, data centers, telecommunications facilities, industrial sites, and other critical loads during grid outages or capacity constraints.

Smart Microgrid and Solar Integration

Store energy from solar PV and wind generation, coordinate distributed energy resources, and supply stable power within a commercial or industrial microgrid.

Peak Shaving and Load Shifting

Charge the battery during lower-demand periods and discharge during peak-demand periods to reduce demand spikes, improve facility load management, and make better use of available grid capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the 500 kW PCS and the 800 kW charging system?

The 500 kW rating refers to the power conversion system used for AC-side power conversion and grid or microgrid interaction. The 800 kW rating refers to the integrated DC charging system, which includes four 200 kW charging connectors.

How many vehicles can the system charge?

The system is equipped with four DC charging connectors. Each connector is rated at 200 kW, allowing up to four compatible vehicles or machines to be connected, subject to system configuration and operating conditions.

Can the Mobile BESS work with solar and wind power?

Yes. The system can be incorporated into a site energy architecture that includes solar PV, wind generation, the utility grid, or a generator. Final integration depends on the project's electrical design and control requirements.

Is the system suitable for outdoor jobsites?

The enclosure is rated IP54 and C4 for corrosion resistance. The system is designed for industrial and outdoor applications within its specified temperature, humidity, and altitude limits.

Can it be used for peak shaving?

Yes. When integrated with the facility energy-management strategy, the battery can charge during lower-demand periods and discharge during peak-demand periods to reduce load spikes and improve power availability.
