3344 kWh 2400 kW Mobile Battery Energy Storage System

Deliver high-power energy where heavy equipment works. This trailer-mounted mobile battery energy storage system combines 3344 kWh of battery capacity with a 2400 kW DC charging system to support electric mining, tunneling and aggregate-processing equipment at remote or temporary sites.

Mobile Power and Charging for Electrified Heavy Equipment

The 3344 kWh mobile BESS brings stored energy and high-power DC charging closer to the work area. Its mobile platform can support changing jobsite layouts, reduce dependence on fixed charging infrastructure and provide a practical energy buffer where grid capacity is limited or unavailable.

Ten charging connectors allow multiple pieces of compatible equipment to be connected according to the configured power allocation. The 200–1000 VDC charging range supports a broad range of high-voltage electric equipment, while the integrated PCS enables controlled power conversion between the battery system and the AC side.

Integrated Energy Storage and High-Power DC Charging

2400 kW Charging System

The integrated charging system provides up to 2400 kW of rated output through ten DC charging connectors. A 200–1000 VDC output range and 2–300 A output-current range per connector enable flexible matching with compatible heavy equipment and operating schedules.

1250 kW PCS Power Conversion

The 1250 kW power conversion system operates across a 615–950 VDC range and supports a rated AC voltage of 230/400 V at 50 or 60 Hz. It manages energy conversion for charging, battery replenishment and site-level power coordination.

Dual-Zone Thermal Management

Liquid cooling regulates the battery compartment, while air cooling serves the electrical compartment. This dual-zone design addresses the different thermal demands of battery cells and power electronics across an operating-temperature range of −22 to 122°F (−30 to 50°C).

Three-Level Battery Protection

Cell-, module- and system-level battery management continuously monitors key operating conditions. Coordinated BMS control, system alarms and perfluoroacetone fire protection help protect the battery system during charging, transport and jobsite operation.

3344 kWh Mobile BESS System Architecture

The system integrates battery clusters, battery management, power conversion, high-power DC charging, thermal management, fire protection and centralized controls on one mobile platform. The coordinated architecture manages energy flow from the battery packs through the PCS and charging modules to connected equipment.

Real-time monitoring supports operational visibility across the battery, power conversion and charging subsystems. System configuration can be adapted to the equipment voltage, connector, duty cycle, charging window and site power source required for each project.

Applications for Mining, Tunneling and Aggregate Processing

The mobile energy storage and charging platform is designed for high-power equipment that operates far from fixed charging points. Project-specific electrical and charging compatibility should be confirmed before deployment.

Electric Mining Shovels

Support high-energy charging near open-pit loading areas, helping electric rope or hydraulic shovels maintain productive operating windows as the pit layout changes.

Electric Excavators

Provide movable charging capacity for electric excavators working across mines, quarries and large earthmoving sites where fixed electrical infrastructure cannot follow the equipment.

Electric Drilling Rigs

Bring stored energy to drilling benches and exploration zones, supporting electric blasthole or production drills in remote sections of the site.

Tunnel Roadheaders

Supply a mobile energy buffer for boom-type roadheaders used in underground roadway and tunnel excavation, subject to the site ventilation, access and safety plan.

Mobile Crushers

Support electric mobile crushing and material-processing equipment at temporary aggregate, quarry and mine locations with changing power demand.
