1254 kWh / 800 kW Mobile Battery Energy Storage System

High-Capacity Mobile Energy for Fleet Charging, Jobsites, and Industrial Loads

The 1254 kWh / 800 kW Mobile BESS combines high-capacity battery storage, high-power DC charging, bidirectional power conversion, thermal management, and layered battery protection on a transport-ready tandem-axle platform. It brings stored energy to commercial and industrial locations where grid capacity is limited, delayed, temporary, or unavailable.

With four 200 kW DC charging connectors and a 200-1,000 VDC output range, the system can support commercial fleets, compatible electric construction equipment, and other high-voltage charging applications. A 625 kW PCS supports AC-side energy management, while liquid cooling for the battery compartment and air cooling for the electrical compartment help maintain stable operating conditions.

Key Benefits

1,254 kWh Mobile Energy Capacity

The high-capacity battery system provides substantial stored energy for mobile charging, temporary power, remote operations, and grid-constrained commercial or industrial sites.

800 kW DC Charging System

Four 200 kW charging connectors provide flexible multi-vehicle charging. The 200-1,000 VDC output range supports a broad selection of compatible commercial vehicles and electric equipment.

625 kW Power Conversion System

The bidirectional PCS operates across a 615-950 VDC range and supports 230/400 VAC at 50/60 Hz for grid interaction, microgrid integration, temporary site power, and facility energy management.

Dual-Mode Thermal Management

Liquid cooling controls the battery-compartment temperature, while air cooling serves the electrical compartment. This coordinated design supports dependable operation under changing load and ambient conditions.

Three-Level BMS Protection

The battery management architecture provides coordinated monitoring and protection at three levels:

  • Cell level: monitors individual cell voltage and temperature.
  • Module level: monitors battery-module voltage, current, temperature, and operating status.
  • System level: coordinates system data, alarms, operating limits, and protective response.

Built for Mobile Deployment

The tandem-axle trailer allows the complete energy system to move between fleet depots, jobsites, mines, temporary facilities, and microgrid projects. The enclosure is rated IP54 and C4 for corrosion resistance, with operation at altitudes up to 3,000 meters before derating is required.

How the Mobile BESS Works

The Mobile BESS can receive energy from the utility grid, solar PV, or a properly integrated generator. Stored energy can then supply DC charging equipment, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, temporary site loads, or facility systems. The energy management controls coordinate power flow, while the BMS and thermal-management systems monitor and protect the battery and electrical equipment.

Five High-Value Applications

Fleet Charging

Add temporary or supplemental charging capacity at depots, logistics centers, and operating sites without waiting for a major utility service upgrade.

Construction Sites

Support compatible electric equipment, site facilities, tools, lighting, and temporary loads while helping reduce generator runtime where the load profile and operating schedule allow.

Mining Operations

Bring stored energy and charging capacity closer to remote mining loads, electric haulage equipment, and expanding work areas where fixed electrical infrastructure may be constrained.

Smart Microgrids and Solar Integration

Store available solar energy, coordinate distributed energy resources, and deliver power within a properly engineered commercial or industrial microgrid.

Peak Shaving and Load Shifting

Charge during lower-demand periods and discharge when site demand rises to help manage peaks and make better use of available electrical capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the 625 kW PCS and the 800 kW charging system?

The 625 kW rating refers to the PCS used for AC-side power conversion and grid or microgrid interaction. The 800 kW rating refers to the integrated DC charging system, which includes four 200 kW charging connectors.

How many vehicles can the system charge at one time?

The system includes four DC charging connectors, allowing as many as four compatible vehicles or machines to be connected. Available power depends on power allocation, equipment limits, battery state of charge, and operating conditions.

Can the Mobile BESS work with solar power?

Yes. The system can be incorporated into a solar-plus-storage or microgrid design with compatible inverters, controls, switchgear, protection equipment, and an appropriate energy-management strategy.

Is the system suitable for outdoor jobsites and mining locations?

The enclosure is rated IP54 and C4 for corrosion resistance. Final suitability depends on temperature, humidity, altitude, dust, site access, terrain, electrical design, and local code requirements.

Can the system be used for peak shaving?

Yes. When integrated with a facility energy-management strategy, the battery can charge during lower-demand periods and discharge when demand rises to help reduce short-duration peaks and improve power availability.
